PUBG Mobile will soon get Sanhok map, new weapons, and vehicles

September 11, and the new update with the Sanhok map will be available from September 12.

mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s BattleGround or PUBG Mobile is all set to get a brand new update which finally adds the Sanhok map to the game. The map was already available for PUBG beta version on Android and it's finally being made available for all. Firing up the game right now gives users a notification that it will be down on September 11 from 12AM to 8AM during, during which the developers will be working on adding the new map as well as a bunch of updates. The new version of the game will be available to users from September 12.

The most notable of the new additions is obviously the Sanhok map, which has been available on PC for quite a while now, and was just recently made available for the Xbox version following its full retail release. The new map’s design is a far cry (pun intended) from the Miramar map, as it features a more tropical setting. Sanhok is also a lot smaller than both Erangel and Miramar, which should make for a more fast-paced gameplay.

The new map will also feature new weapons as well as two new vehicles. New weapons include the QBZ, an automatic rifle and the flare gun. The latter can be useful in a pinch as when used inside the battlezone, it calls in an airdrop; and when used outside the battlezone, it calls in a bulletproof UAZ. Speaking of which, the bulletproof UAZ is one of the new vehicles added to the game and can seat four people at a time. The second car added to the game is a muscle car which is available in hard-top and convertible versions. Both variants will be able to seat up to four players.

Other changes to the game include customizable pick-up options, which can be set from the Settings. Other changes include better anti-cheat measures. This includes improved cheat plug-in recognition, and addition of report buttons on pages.

Jio SIM home delivered

Reliance Jio SIM Home Delivery: Everything You Need to Know
Following reports from September, Reliance Jio has officially launched a pilot programme for home delivery of SIM cards. Targeting the biggest cities in India, the Reliance Jio SIM home delivery service is aimed to help consumers get their hands on a Jio SIM card without going through the trouble of visiting a retail store. Wondering how to get Reliance Jio SIM home-delivered? We explain.
The pilot programme for Reliance Jio SIM home delivery is based on an invite system, contradictory to earlier reports that had tipped an online portal would be launched that would allow users to apply for and schedule Jio SIM card home delivery.
The Reliance Jio SIM card home delivery pilot programme is being rolled out in a phased manner. Currently in beta, the program is being rolled out area wise in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Visakhapatnam.
Under the Reliance Jio SIM card home delivery pilot programme, individuals will receive an invite to schedule a Jio SIM delivery at home. Notably, users cannot request an invite. Instead, Reliance Jio will send invites to “influencers” it has discovered. Reliance employees will not be able to refer people for the Jio SIM home delivery programme either, and only the team responsible can make selections.
The invite to the Reliance Jio SIM card home delivery pilot programme allows the individual to request for a SIM card to be delivered at their home at a time of their choice. Deliveries can be scheduled as soon as “within 30 minutes”.
Separately, Reliance Jio is running a programme for housing societies and enterprises that makes it easier for consumers to procure Jio SIM cards. Housing society and enterprise officials can register their interest on the respective section of the site. If the application is selected, a Reliance Jio team will visit the housing complex or office to distribute SIM cards via a kiosk. Consumers hoping to avail the services from these kiosks will need a local Aadhaar card for ‘instant eKYC-based activation’. To use services, they will need a 4G-enabled smartphone.

Here's why your WhatsApp may stop working 2017

New York: Popular messaging app WhatsApp will stop working on millions of smartphones by the end of 2016 unless they are upgraded, media reports said.

According to a report in The Mirror, WhatsApp, with more than one billion monthly users, was phasing out compatibility with older phones in a technology upgrade.
"While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they do not offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future," said a spokesperson of WhatsApp in a blog post.
The company has said that several older services would be discontinued in 2017.
"As we look ahead to our next seven years, we want to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use," the spokesperson said.
The blog listed several mobile platforms that will not be able to support the messaging app, including Android 2.1 and Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7 and iPhone 3GS or iOS 6.
According to the report, any iPhone 4, 4S, or 5 that has not been updated to the newest version of the operating system -- iOS 10 -- would also not support WhatsApp.
However, WhatsApp is extending support for BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Nokia Symbian S60 until June 30, 2017.
